WWI German Casualties weapon information.

The Gewehr 98 is a bolt action rifle made by Mauser, firing cartridges from a five round internal clip loaded magazine. Developed in the Germany by Paul Mauser. The Gewehr 98 became the main German infantry service rifle of the First World War. For more information see Wikipedia article.
