Description

These 20mm (1/72nd) WWI French Chasseurs with Lance, are suitable for early war campaigns. Dressed in a bright blue greatcoat tunic and red trousers with a kepi and standard leather boots.

WWI French Chasseurs with Lance weapon information.

The Modèle 1913 Lance retained the M1890 blade type. Both had a hollow ground triangular blade with rondel stop below it to prevent over penetration of the target.

This stop also provided an attachment point for a pennant. The grip on the M1913 was instead provided by a leather sleeve that fitted over the central section. Manufactured by the French arms company Manufacture d’armes de Châtellerault.

Miniatures cast in white metal and are not suitable for children. Models supplied unpainted. Model making skills will prove useful.
