WWI Belgian Infantry Command weapon information.

The FN Model 1910 is a blowback operated, semi automatic pistol. That fired a 9mm Browning short cartridge. Manufactured in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale starting in 1912 from the original design and 1908 patent by Browning. The M1889 was used during the First World War and the Second World War. The Belgian M1889 Mauser became the first bolt action service rifle of the Belgian Army. Based on the proven Mauser design originally brought about by the brothers Paul and Wilhelm Mauser of Germany.
