The War of 1948

The War of 1948 or the First Arab-Israeli War was the second and final stage of the 1948 Palestine war. It officially began following the end of the British Mandate for Palestine at midnight on 14th May 1948. The Israeli Declaration of Independence had been issued earlier that day. And a military coalition of Arab states entered the territory of British Palestine in the morning of 15th May. The result of the First Arab-Israeli War. Israeli victory.

The Suez Crisis

The Suez Crisis or the Second Arab-Israeli War started on 29th October 1956 to 7th November 1956 was an invasion of Egypt by Israel. Followed by Britain and France. The result was coalition military victory but an Egyptian political victory.

The Six-Day War

Six-Day War or the Third Arab-Israeli War a conflict fought between Israel and a coalition of Arab states. Primarily Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. Which started on 5th June 1967 to 10th June 1967. The result of the Third Arab-Israeli War. Israeli victory.

War of Attrition

The War of Attrition involved fighting between Israel and Egypt, Jordan, the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) and their allies from 1967 to 1970. The result both sides claimed victory.

The Yom Kippur War

The Yom Kippur War or the Fourth Arab-Israeli War, was an armed conflict fought from 6th October to 25th October 1973. Between Israel and a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria. The majority of combat between the two sides took place in the Sinai Peninsula and the Golan Heights. Israeli victory.

The Lebanon War

The Lebanon War or the First Lebanon War began on 6th June 1982, when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) invaded southern Lebanon. The invasion followed a series of attacks and counter-attacks between the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) operating in southern Lebanon and the Israel Defense Forces that had caused civilian casualties on both sides of the border. The result was Israeli tactical victories but overall strategic failure.

The Second Lebanon War

The Second Lebanon War designated by Israel as the Security Zone in Lebanon Campaign, was a protracted armed conflict that took place in southern Lebanon from 1985 to 2000.
