I am trying to compile a history of Platoon 20. If anybody can help me in this matter I would be greatly appreciative – maybe some old magazine cuttings, catalogues, a little bit of history of the original owners.

The Bellow text comes from Syr Hobbs Wargames website product category for Platoon 20 in 2006.
All the Platoon 20 ranges are now owned and produced solely by East Riding Miniatures.
The process of remastering and remoulding all the Platoon 20 ranges is going to take some time. Many of the old moulds that came with the company are past their best.
The ranges that have already had the treatment have 8 figures per pack, usually in 2, 3 or 4 different poses and all the available single figures are included somewhere in the packs.
Remoulded heavy weapons packs will be listed according the weapon included – MGs or mortars. There will usually be 2 such heavy weapons and crew per pack (4 for the LMG packs). Needless to say, the new moulds are geared up for producing packs and the pack contents are consistent.
