For over half a century Humbrol has been producing brands of paints and accessories for model making.

The brand has been under several owners.

• In 1976 became part of the Hobby Products Group.
• In 1986 the Airfix became part of the Hobby Products Group.
• In 1994 the brand was acquired by Allen & Maguire.
• In 2006 Humbrol LTD went into administration.
• In 1994 the brand became part of the Hornby Hobbies LTD.

The brand has become recognized worldwide and is one of the largest and most progressive brands in the fields of modelling, hobbies and crafts.

It produces over 460 different products and accessories and are sold in all major and independent craft and model retailers.
